TEAM

Genius loci, the spirit and soul of a place, denotes the intrinsic elements and the unique qualities of what a space is and what it can become. It conveys not only its physical characteristics, it also reveals how it is perceived.  Our responsibility as garden designers is to be sensitive to these unique qualities, and to achieve the absolute integration of our gardens in the landscape, in the context where they are located. We believe in creating links between what we create and the places where it is created. So that the result conveys order, harmony, balance and translates into a better quality of life for the people who will be in contact with our gardens.

rocío sainz de rozas

Bachelor of Administration and Business Management, Universidad Pontificia de Comillas. Bachelor of Agricultural Engineering specialised in farming, horticulture and gardening, School of Agricultural Engineering, Pablo de Olavide University, Seville.

With more than 15 years of experience in the world of landscaping, Rocío recalls her professional beginnings as a financial consultant in Deloitte, walking up every day to the offices of the Picasso Tower in Madrid, but longing to stay in Leandro Silva’s garden at the entrance. One day she managed to retrace her career and turn her passion for plants into her professional path.

As a landscape architect she began working in several Andalusian architecture offices and later on in England. She would then return to Spain to run her own studio in Seville, from which she develops large-scale landscaping projects throughout the country and also international projects in the Middle East.

Rocio is a tremendously energetic person with innate skills to interact with customers and a great sensitivity for garden and outdoor design. In her studio, she has invested a lot in training a team of professionals of different nationalities and disciplines (architects, agronomists, landscapers, graduates in fine arts). All of them, together, face new challenges and develop projects connecting with nature and the spirit of the place of origin.
